I believe the wire needs to be replaced. It shows consistent signs of use and wear for its age. Please view all of the pictures to determine its condition. The silver metal dial has raised gold tone Deco numerals. Its signed Gilbert 1807 on its face. The case has a great Art Deco. Style with a black wood case and chrome Deco stripes.
